Heh, after talking to a "Linux GPRS tech" (yea, I was amazed too) he
told me I didn't have the laptop GPRS service. He had me connect to
wap.voicestream.com instead of internet2 and the ppp connection
started up just fine.

The tech told me that internet3 gives you a routable IP. So what's the
difference between the wap and internet2? At first I didn't think wap
gave me internet access, but I was able to ssh to my home machine...
