I have a Motorola P280. I've tried it with both the irda and data
serial connection with the same results. I can connect to the phone
and issue AT commands just fine, but can't get the ppp connection to
stay up. I've tried just about every option (including Nate's script)
with the same results.

I've also tried it with both my laptop and Zaurus, and both act the
same.
