The MN Science Museum parking ramp has chain-link fences covering the "open"
areas, with an interesting feature on each level -- a pair of linked
cellphone antennas on each side of the chain-link, joined by a coax cable
passing through the fence. Instead of going over or around an object, this
application drills through it...  :-)
