This should work. I assume you are also sending Framed-IP-Address along with Framed-IP-Netmask. If you want to try and debug it on the Max side, you need to go into diagnostics mode and issue this command: radif This will show you all the attributes being sent to the Max (the attributes are in hex, so you'll have to convert to decimal). How do I set the dialup user's netmask via radius? I have tried Framed-IP-Netmask = 255.255.255.255 as a reply item in my Cistron radius users file, but this appears to be ignored by the Max. I don't have any users that need any other netmask, so if you can show me in the menu's where I can "default" the value that is sent to the client, that would be just as well. thanks for any info. -- Butch Evans Shelton Internet Network Admin ________________________________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free E-mail from MSN Hotmail at http://www.hotmail.com ++ Ascend Users Mailing List ++ To unsubscribe: send unsubscribe to ascend-users-request at bungi.com To get FAQ'd: <http://www.nealis.net/ascend/faq>
