[Note, I'm not sure which Ascend lists exist anymore...tho I've sent this to the real/time list] I've already been looking over the existing archives for the answer. And looking at all of the PDF docu files from ascend/lucent. (I've used many pipelines before but I'm really a cisco guy.) If you call my max at 214-448-2301, it answers with a wierd sound, that is NOT a modem tone. It has been answering ISDN calls pretty much ok. Analog calls raise the CRC counters in the WAN stat window (seems meaningful) I can't seem to make voice call get routed to the modems, and I think it is some kinda slot numbering thing....? I'm more than a little fuzzy on how to specify getting the modems to answer an analog call. This box isn't in service yet, so I can try almost anything. I'm thinking perhaps I need to specify 9 somewhere, since slot 9 shows in the logging. Can anyone share an otherwise typical Max 4048 config that handles incoming ISDN, and v.90 analog on ISDN PRIs?
