Hello , I have read RFC-2759 authored by G.Zorn.I have a query regarding Change Password Packet in MS-CHAP version 2.We have a Client Server(RAS- Server) Dial up Network using PPP. Currently the password can be changed only when the password has expired and the server notifies for it. We would like to implement a utility in which the Client can change the password whenever he desires.Can we use MS-CHAP version 2 for it or do we need a different protocol for it. Can you suggest.
