I have configured a Max 3000 with a nailed connection to my upstream bandwidth provider. The bandwidth is coming to me over a 2Mb E1 which has been clocked down to 1Mbps. The Max3000 is directly connected to this bandwidth using its Serial Wan interface. I had been unhappy with the speed & performance for some time now and so decided to install MRTG to have a look at the link. MRTG reports that the Max speed for the link is only 64Kbps and not 1Mbps. Is MRTG getting confused or is my config actually bad ? Would appreciate any help anyone can give. Please check out the link below which is the MRTG monitor.
