Recently, we started working with FreeRadius. It works great, pretty much, except we just started noticing that some of our maxen are losing track of their Radius-assigned IP pools. When a Max reboots, I can see the pools-maxX users getting authenticated properly through Radius, but somehow the Max either never gets the pool, or takes a long time (sometimes up to 5 minutes or more) to get them. We're using 7.0.26 -- has anyone else had this problem? So far, we've been working around it by statically configuring pools on the maxen, but this is (to say the least) not ideal.
