Hi!

Apologies in advance if this is an FAQ item** or has been beaten to death...

We have a Cellpipe 50A gluing our LAN to our Internet DSL connection. Pings
and traceroutes work fine among the devices on the LAN but trying to
ping/traceroute from the LAN to an Internet host doesn't work.

Wandering around the Web, I found what I think is the archives of this
mailing list. This appears to be a known problem with Ascend routers in
general, but I couldn't really tell if it is a CURRENT problem.

And that is my question: Is this a current problem with the Lucent (nee
Ascend) Cellpipe 50A?

Our Cellpipe has software version 7.10.7.

** The URL http://www.nealis/ascend/faq (as shown in the trailer of the
mailing list messages) doesn't seem to work for me. I'm running IE 5.5 on
Win98 and Win NT and I always get a page not found error both here at the
office and at home.

Is this working for anyone else?
