Hi there. On our Max 4048 the radius accounting is sending multiple entries for each call. Most calls will have at least 6 repeats any entry, and I've seen as many as 21 "start" entries and 21 "stop" entries for the same call. I've been able to get in and shut it off, but can't see (or make sense of) what might cause these repeats. Each entry is time stamped every 10 to 20 seconds apart. I'll be setting up another server (primarily a web server) to handle the accounting messages to see if the same thing happens, but I have to get the Radius running on it. However, I'm wondering if anyone has any immediate idea what may cause this (have you seen it yourself?). Also, I'm wondering if the time stamp is sent from the Max along with the accounting message or if it's stamped by Radius when the message is received. This may shed some light on the subject. I'm pretty sure that the message is being sent repeatedly, as opposed to being written over and over by Radius itself, because our (now pulled out) TNT ran single entries, as do our couple of non-Ascend units.
