A second question re my Pipeline 75 on a SoHo network. Is there a simple way to change the DNS servers that the computers on my network use according to the ISP the Ascend has decided to connect to? Or, even more relevant, when the ISP provides the IP address(es) of its DNS server(s) 'dynamically' (i.e. at connection time) how can you transfer these to the computers connected via the Ascend? Each connection profile has its own DNS addresses and these can either be 'static' (if you know them) or they can be set up by the ISP when the connection is made. However this is a pretty pointless exercise as far as I can see as all it enables is the use of DNS lookup from the Ascend itself. What I need to be able to do is to transfer thse connection profile DNS addresses to the computers using the Ascend as and when each connection profile is in use. -- Chris Green (chris at areti.co.uk) Home: chris at isbd.co.uk Work: cgreen at bcs.org.uk WWW: http://www.isbd.co.uk/ ++ Ascend Users Mailing List ++ To unsubscribe: send unsubscribe to ascend-users-request at bungi.com Archives: http://www.nexial.com/mailinglists/
