Hello! I have a Max 3000 that I am trying to get it not to send the Vendor Specific Attributes (VSAs) to the Radius server. I have set my setting to use the "old" mode which as I understand it, it should not send over ANY VSA to the radius server accounting server if it is set to this mode. The accounting server although it will see the the VSA it can not use them for the type of application is running. The radius server is running on Redhat Linux. I have added the Ascend dictionary but like I said, I cant use it. I need the Max to send attribute 49 (Account Termination Code) instead of the Ascend Termination code. Has anyone experience this or can explain the mode types (old, vsa 8 bit, and vsa 16 bit) if I am misunderstanding them. Thanks!
