To All: I have several Ascend / Lucent STDX 8000/9000 Channelized T1 cards / modules. Part Number 710-0003-01 P/C 59021 These need to be upgraded from 8 MB Memory to 16 MB Memory. This is a request by a customer of mine. Apparently this is required to turn on some features/upgrade software. I do not have a complete understanding of what this 8 Mb to 16 MB memory upgrade will accomplish. Does anyone have the information as to what type of SIMMS Memory Module is required to accomplish the memory upgrade? What type of upgrade (Software or Hardware) requires this additional memory?
