This is normal - when the MAX boots up it queries the Radius Server using a
whole bunch of usernames like this, to retrieve additional external
configuration. If you study the Radius manual for the MAX you'll see
reference to it. Basically its harmless.

This however, is bad news. Because the MAX only sends these queries when it
boots up, it means your box is rebooting itself every 6 to 12 hours. If you
go into debug mode (control D then D again) and type:

fatal-history

If you see a "FATAL ERROR" that means your box crashed, and it will be
followed by a "SYSTEM IS UP" which is when it rebooted itself automatically.

I get one about every 3 or 4 months, but I havn't been able to isolate the
cause. If you're getting it every 6 to 12 hours then I'd say you've got
some kind of hardware fault, or maybe you're triggering a bug in your
firmware version. (I'm running 7.2.0)

Simon
