Hi,

We are trying to follow the instructions posted to the list by Oliver
Stettner some time ago, in order to create large IP pools that avoid .0 and
.255 addresses - but it didn't work. There was an instant where the TNT
assigned an IP address in pool-base-address 2 for no apparent reason. We
think it may have assigned it because there was no other IPs in 1 to assign.

In RADIUS we are not using any Ascend-Assign-IP-Pool tags for normal users
(the ones having the problems! we just say Framed-IP-Netmask =
255.255.255.255 and that's about it), but we use Ascend-Assign-IP-Pool for
pools 2 and upwards.

Any ideas ?
