Hi Jan, Fatal Index 1 is almost always a hardware error. I say almost because it could be software as well. This is the GENERAL fatal error that is not real specific on what could be wrong. I would start by changing codes. If that does not work, start to see if perhaps you have a defective modem card but chances are that you will experience reboots in the near future if you have not seen them yet.
