I have an Ascend Pipeline 75 on a SoHo system with a mix of win2k, NT4 and Linux boxes. It works fine except for one thing.... When I use a browser to bring up the router connection to the internet it always fails the first time. Though the connection has been brought up the browser doesn't 'see' it. If I watch the lights on the Ascend 75 I can stop the browser when the Ascend successfully makes the connection and retry the saem URL and then it works fine. If I just leave it to its own devices the browser will time out with an error message. Again, just hitting return to retry the same URL will work OK. Telnet connections from the Linux box don't seem to suffer from this problem. Do I have something set up wrong (in Windows?) or is it always like this? -- Chris Green (chris at areti.co.uk) Home: chris at isbd.co.uk Work: cgreen at bcs.org.uk WWW: http://www.isbd.co.uk/ ++ Ascend Users Mailing List ++ To unsubscribe: send unsubscribe to ascend-users-request at bungi.com Archives: http://www.nexial.com/mailinglists/
