We are trying to move a CT1 from a PM-3 to a Max 6096. The CT1 is currently setup as Trunk-side, B8ZS, ESF, Wink-Start.. When we dial in to the max, we receive a busy signal. When we telnet into the max, we see it attempting to connect as we see the line changine from '-' to 'r' to 'c'. As we watch the telnet connection, we attempt to dial into the max, and we see it picking up on two channels: Jul 9 05:38:48 max6000 ASCEND: call 80 AN slot 7 port 5 56KR Jul 9 05:38:48 max6000 ASCEND: call 80 CL 0K c=185 p=10 Jul 9 05:38:48 max6000 ASCEND: slot 7 port 5, line 4, channel 2, Call Disconnected [MBID 352] Jul 9 05:38:49 max6000 ASCEND: call 81 AN slot 7 port 6 56KR Jul 9 05:38:49 max6000 ASCEND: call 81 CL 0K c=185 p=10 Jul 9 05:38:49 max6000 ASCEND: slot 7 port 6, line 4, channel 3, Call Disconnected [MBID 353] The telnet to the max shows the first line go from '-' to 'r' to 'c', but the second line goes from '-' to 'c', so my guess is that the switch is seeing the first line busy, and rolling it to the next line. Another thing that we are seeing is that CH 24 is repeatedly going into an answer state. From the syslogs we see repeated entries for CH 24 (different 'call' numbers): Jul 9 05:36:08 max6000 ASCEND: call 74 AN slot 6 port 15 56KR Jul 9 05:36:28 max6000 ASCEND: call 74 CL 0K c=185 p=31 Jul 9 05:36:28 max6000 ASCEND: slot 6 port 15, line 4, channel 24, Call Disconnected [MBID 346] Which it then ends up in the Answer stage. lqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqk x20-200 1234567890 x x L2/LA ---------- x x 12345678901234 x x -------------* x lqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqk I currently have the Max 6096 configured as: 20-100 Line Config 20-1** Factory Name=Factory 1st Line=Trunk 2nd Line=Trunk Line 1 ....
