telnet block on Max TNTLooks like a software issue. I know for sure it's supported in version 8.x onwards.

Should be freely available from ftp.ascend.com/pub

Paul thanks you for answer me..
  but take a look:

  Oops :(

  TnTLimaTaSa-CI6#version
  Software version 7.2.4

  TnTLimaTaSa-CI6#new TACL
  error: unknown profile type
  TnTLimaTaSa-CI6#

This is a software version problem surely, isn't it?

Use the "Telnet Access Control List", TACL

    i.e. to allow telnet from 192.168.1.0/24 :
    new TACL

    set enable-permit = yes

    set permit-list 1 valid-entry = yes

    set permit-list 1 source-address = 192.168.1.0/24

    set permit-list 1 source-address-mask = 255.255.255.0

    set permit-list 2 valid-entry = yes

    etc...

    write -f

    Hope this helps..
