here is a better description

current setup that works.
cisco ----t1s----cisco 192.168.1.1/24 --- tnt 192.168.1.2/24
tnt has dial-up pools of 192.168.1.10-254, 192.168.2.1-254 and network for
sdsl of 192.168.3.0/24. on the cisco, i have routed as follows

ip route 0.0.0.0 0.0.0.0 172.16.1.1 (ip of loopback peer at other end)
ip route 192.168.2.0 255.255.255.0 192.168.1.2
ip route 192.168.3.0 255.255.255.0 192.168.1.2
....
on the tnt i have the default route set to 192.168.1.1
the ip-interface {{1 4 1}0} has ip of 192.168.1.2/24, system-ip-addr in
ip-global is this same address, ethernet port proxy is OFF.

switching to a new provider with new ip blocks, same cisco to cisco setup
with loopback peering (this part works, i can hookup to the lan and
everything is fine), change ips to following setup
cisco ----t1s----cisco 10.1.1.1/24 --- tnt 10.1.1.2/24
tnt has dial-up pools of 10.1.1.10-254, 10.1.2.1-254 and network for sdsl of
10.1.3.0/24. on the cisco, i have routed as follows

ip route 0.0.0.0 0.0.0.0 172.16.1.1 (ip of loopback peer at other end)
ip route 10.1.2.0 255.255.255.0 10.1.1.2
ip route 10.1.3.0 255.255.255.0 10.1.1.2

my old block of ips were class c addresses, the new block is class a
addresses, but they are routed to me via the isp as /24's

i tried setting the proxy mode on the ethernet port to on, but that screwed
up my dhcp server i have for adsl (which is working by the way on a redback
on this new network)

like I said before, i can ping the ip of the tnt ethernet interface, when
logged into the tnt, i can ping either way (out to lan and net, or in to
dial-up and sdsl customers) but nothing can go from in to out or vice versa.
