I'm not 100% sure of this, but it sounds like the software image is corrupt. If this is the case, you'll need to NINDY the box and reload the software image. I've only done this on a 4000 box, which requires a jumper setting. IIRC, the 6000 series will enter NINDY by sending a break during POST. If this doesn't work, hopefully someone else on the list can help out before you get stuck calling Lucent for support. If you do do a NINDY, you'll need a terminal emulator capable of xmodem file transfer. Hyperterm works fine, as does CRT.
