## TAOS SOFTWARE:

The only mention of v.92 support in free version 9.0.x is listed in the Release Notes for TAOS 9.0-159.0, which I do not believe to be part of the regular build chain, and was more likely a predecessor to the 9.1.x version . At best, it only supports the 48 and 96-port cards, and only offers parial support, PCM not available at the time. This documentation falls (chronilogically) in between releases 9.0.2 and 9.0.3. They are as far as 9.0.9 (dated 04-03-2002) on the free side, yet still no mention of v.92 in any of those regular build Release Notes.

The start of the "paid" TAOS of 9.1.0 (dated 05-23-2001) makes the same announcement for v.92 support as the odd one above, still on a limited basis supporting only Modem on Hold (MoH) and Quick Connect (QC), PCM still unavailable. Also, only the 48 and 96-port models are supported.

In release 9.1.8 (dated 06-18-2002) there was a bug fix concerning Quick Connect not operating efficiently.

Release 10.0.1 (which pre-dates the above at 05-10-2002, go figure) added v.92 support for the 240 and 288-port modem cards.

Release 10.0.2 (dated 07-25-2002) included no new information, and to this point I have still not found anything stating that PCM Upstream is supported yet.

## MODEM HARDWARE:

Only these modem cards are able to support v.92 functionality at this time.

(1) TNTV-SL-ADI-C (48 ports of v.92 max) aka, "madd-card"
(2) APX8-SL-96DSP (96 ports of v.92 max) aka, "madd2-card"
(3) APX-SL-DSP-3-L (240 ports of v.92 max) aka, "madd3-240-card"
(4) APX-SL-DSP-3 (288 ports of v.92 max) aka, "madd3-card"

Note: Item four can also be configured to support 480 ports of G.711 VoIP using H.323, and then is known as "madd3-voip-480"

I hope this information helps.

I think it's only in 10.0.0 and higher revs of code. The 96 DSP cards
are great by the way :) , especially when compared to the much older
CSMV-line of cards.
