I installed a DSLTNT last night (my first "DSLTNT" not "MaxTNT".) I
upgraded to TAOS 8.0.3 and saw that autobaud and fastautobaud were
now supported with SDSL. Great! Pull down new TAOS for the pipes,
7.10.8 and turn it on. From testing in the CO, it would autobaud,
sometimes quickly, sometimes, very slowly, sometimes at abysmal speeds
for being 50ft away from each other.

Here's the odd part: If I set the box up w/ Frame-relay, static IP,
etc., the box autobauds, comes up, life is great. If I set a box
up with NAT and PPP, when I tell the pipe to dial, it transmits a
coule of packets and then terminatesthe call. No packets are received
back, and the TNT sits their blissfully ignoring the pipe. If I
set it back to singlebaud, everything works as intended.

Anybody else played with the autobauding? I'm trying to work
up enough stamina to be put on hold at Lucent, but was hoping
that somebody else was either having the same woes, or had
made it work.

Thanks,

Denny
